Supporting biodiversity in Colombia
Here you can find out about the activities of the BRIDGE network of partnerships.
Dates: 2 October 2019
Location: Natural History Museum, London
About the event:
The scientific collaboration between Colombia and the UK has grown over the last 5 years to unprecedented levels, particularly due to the work both countries have been doing through the Newton Fund and the Global Challenges Research Fund. The number and quality of joint research projects is testament to this.
In 2017, we held an event called Doing Science with Colombia as a way to raise awareness of the important milestones that the bilateral science and innovation relationship was achieving.
This October, Doing Science with Colombia will once again celebrate the achievements of this relationship and consider its future. We will discuss issues such as the current state of the scientific collaboration, the sustainability of research and innovation projects and the future of the bilateral relationship from different perspectives.
The event will take place in London on Wednesday 2 October 2019.
